When the shelter-in-place order was issued in San Francisco on March 16th, 2020, I was residing alone in a small one-bedroom condo in a densely populated urban area of the city.

Largely in an effort to keep myself from going stir crazy, I started recording myself talking at some great lengths about my opinions on whatever topics had captured my interest at the time, as well as personal stories about my life, and published episodes of this as a podcast I call “Sophistic Soliloquy”.

This is done simply, with the iOS Voice Memos app, a set of Airpods, and the Anchor.fm podcast publishing platform. The quality of the audio (and content, probably) is lacking, but it gets the job done.

I have no delusions about one day rising to podcast fame. This was a useful diversion during a globally difficult time. On the off chance you enjoy my writings on here, you might enjoy my unstructured ramblings about the absurdities of life.
